The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.

We need highly motivated and suitably dedicated personnel for the available position as a Theatre Assistant working in Wrexham Maelor Hospital Operating Theatres.
All new starters will be supported via the preceptorship programme that is available within the department.
Starting salary Band 2 increasing to a Band 3 once competencies have been completed.
Main duties of the job
Providing support for the delivery of higher standard care to patients within the theatre complex. To work as part of a multidisciplinary team in the theatre, ensuring that patient care is non-discriminatory and non-prejudicial and of a high standard.
To carry out tasks in accordance with unit policies and procedures.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
