Job overview

This post is Fixed term/Secondment until 31/03/2025 to meet the needs of the service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a health care support worker that has an interest in working and caring for patients to a high standard on a oncology, haematology day unit. There will be an opportunity for the candidate to enhance their current skills and knowledge of how to care for patients receiving chemotherapy.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. 

Main duties of the job

  • Caring for patients with a diagnosis of Cancer.
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living.
  • Monitoring patients closely during chemotherapy.
