Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Registered Nurse or newly qualified looking for an opportunity to work within Renal Medicine in the Wrexham Maelor Hospital? 

Cunliffe ward at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital is a progressive, supportive environment with a dynamic and motivated team.

Our busy but friendly ward is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic permanent nurses wishing to gain experience in Nephrology.  Cunliffe ward is a challenging and rewarding place to work.

The Post holder would have the opportunity to work within a Renal Ward to develop and enhance your clinical experience and skills and advance your nursing career within a renal speciality

In exchange for your flexibility and commitment we can offer a full induction on each ward, regular appraisals and feedback, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. For newly qualified nurses a comprehensive preceptorship and opportunities to develop personally and professionally as well as line management and supervision from a designated matron.

Further development opportunities and training programs are also available. I.e. Renal Degree Modules and Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis experience

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nurse who has experience of healthcare and is keen to assist in developing the service for the future. This is a demanding role that requires commitment and a positive approach towards change. You will have excellent communication skills and high clinical standards with a passion to make a difference for patients and staff alike.

This is an exciting opportunity to support patients, some with  complex needs during their stay in hospital. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate care and compassion in providing support and care for patients.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
