The opportunity has arisen to work with the dynamic simulation team as a Simulation Technician. The post holder will be responsible for providing technical support to ensure the smooth running of simulation training in the Trust and beyond.

Main duties of the job
The Simulation Technician will be responsible for the day to day co-ordination and provision of technical services for the Clinical Simulation Service within the Education Centre at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be required to service, maintain, set up and facilitate the use of all audio visual and clinical simulation equipment within the department.
The post holder will support the Trust’s vision and Education and Workforce Development strategy through facilitating the smooth running of high quality innovative AV and simulation equipment ensuring simulation based education can be effectively delivered to our workforce, enabling systems testing, reducing clinical risk and supporting the learning needs of multi-professional staff throughout the Trust, valuing and investing in lifelong learning to attract and retain our current and future workforce to deliver high quality care, ensuring ‘an outstanding experience for every patient’.
