Job Title: Project Midwife for Maternity Support Worker Framework implementation
Hours per week: Part time - 15 hours per week
Perm/Fixed Term: 6 months (Fixed Term for 6 months)
Salary: £46,148 - £52,809 per annum (noting that this is a fixed term post for 6 months)

Here at George Eliot, we are looking for an experienced midwife to lead the development, co-ordination and delivery of the maternity support worker career, education and development framework across the Coventry & Warwickshire LMNS.
The project midwife will link in with each individual maternity unit within the LMNS to review and map out the current maternity support worker workforce.
The post holder will work closely with a wide range of clinical, operational, managerial and service users to ensure all aspects of the projects identified can be delivered

Main duties of the job
The Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care System (LMNS) will require a mapping exercise for the existing MSW workforce against the refreshed version of the Maternity Support Worker Framework, utilising the NHSE WT&E Implementation Guide and Toolkit.
This in turn will aid the development of a clear education and training plan, for the following three Trust within the LMNS footprint.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
In addition to the mapping exercise of the current maternity support worker workforce for each organisation within the LMNS the project midwife will undertake a learning needs assessment. This in turn will support the development of plans to enable all current and future MSW's to meet the current requirements. This work will be undertaken in line with the NHSE Workforce, Training and Education (WT&E) implementation guide and toolkit.

- Experience managing change/ projects
- Knowledge of the theory and practice of change management
- Demonstrable involvement supporting service redesign projects
- Experience of working with multi -disciplinary teams
- Knowledge of innovation and quality improvement tools and techniques
Qualifications and professional training
Essential criteria
- RM with current NMC registration
- Educated to first degree level or evidence of specialist knowledge, underpinned by theory & experience to equivalent level
- Change/ project management training experience.
- Evidence of continuous personal/professional development
Skills and Abilities

- Work autonomously within guidelines and sphere of professional practice
- Demonstrates knowledge in areas relating to Clinical Governance and Risk Management
- Aware of National agenda for maternity service Awareness of NHS systems/processes
