Education and qualifications

Essential criteria

1st Level Registered Nurse Educated to degree level or working towards
ENB 998/equivalent
Educated to degree level or working towards

Desirable criteria

Parkinson’s Disease speciality nursing qualification or willingness to undertake
Independent Nurse Prescriber

Experience and knowledge

Essential criteria

Experience of working within Neurology and with Parkinson’s patients. Initiation and evaluation of research based practice.
Commitment to undertake further specialist training.
Clinical knowledge of current developments in NSF for long term conditions.
Knowledge of change management processes.
Ability to develop nursing excellence and clinical practice.
Initiation and evaluation of research based practice.
