Trosolwg o'r swydd

The Intoxication Observation Unit (IOU) opened in 2012.  Two beds on Edward Myers Inpatient Ward, Harplands Hospital are designated for the service.  The IOU Service accepts transfers from A&E and WMAS for patients who are intoxicated but no longer in need of emergency services.  They are observed for further assessment in relation to their alcohol use.

Edward Myers Unit (EMU) itself is a 12 bedded 24/7 inpatient service delivering drug and alcohol detoxification and treatment.  It is part of North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT) and is 1 of only 6 NHS Trusts across the country, who deliver such specialist inpatient treatment within the NHS.

We take referrals from across the country, and we enjoy an excellent reputation locally and nationally.

We are currently looking for highly motivated, dynamic individual who has a passion for working with this specialist client group to help drive our services forward.
