Our Service operates from 8am to 8pm, including weekends, which allows us to offer young people, and their families enhanced levels of support. We provide short term intensive home treatment (around 6 weeks) as an extension to a Community CAMHS care package.
We aim to support young people and their families to avoid inpatient admissions where possible and support them with recovery in a home setting.
The team currently is made up of a skilled mix of band 7 & band 6 Mental Health Practitioners & Band 4 Support Workers. We aim to work in pairs where possible, however there are times that you would be expected to work autonomously with indirect support and supervision from a registered practitioner.
This role will be working within a specialist CAMHS eating disorder service which offers a real opportunity to develop new skills whilst also increasing your current skills and knowledge base via direct work and specialist training.
