Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS FT is proud to release the Chief Nurse Clinical Fellow for Safe Staffing post, which will be an exciting opportunity. The successful post holder will work collaboratively with the Associate Director of Nursing to strengthen the safe staffing position for the Trust, and to roll out and embed the Safe Care bundle.
The post holder will undertake regular audits and using their experience and knowledge interpret the data analysis, to inform safe staffing.
The post holder will be a registrant with the NMC or the HCPC, and have a current registration.
The post holder will communicate effectively and support the Associate Director of Nursing in ensuring clear and concise information is provided.
The post holder will deputise for the Associate Director of Nursing as required, and support the Associate Director of Nursing with the information and data required to support all Board papers.
The post holder will support the Ward Sisters/ Charge Nurses with the SNCT audits to ensure that there is compliance across the trust. Based on the audits of these audits support the Ward Sisters/ Charge Nurses with the development of their action plans.

- Evidence of participating in organisational change that has led to changes in quality
- Proven track record in leadership and management
- Evidence of leading Trust wide projects

- Experience of working towards Care Quality Commission and the National Health Service Litigation Authority standards
- Complaints Management
- Managerial experience at band 7 in the NHS
- Experience of supporting the implementation of the national Maternity Transformation agenda as outlined in Better Births (2016)
- Experience of developing, implementing, delivering and evaluating education programmes
