Job overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Department Leader to spearhead the development of our outpatient team across four sites, with a special focus on the Newark outpatient team.

The ideal candidate will bring knowledge and experience in outpatient care or possess strong transferable skills to lead and inspire the team. Upholding and promoting our CARE values, the successful candidate will serve as a role model for staff at all levels.

Knowledge requirements

Essential criteria
  • Excellent communication skills with clear written and oral skills.
  • Proven managements skills – effective organisation abilities, supervisory skills leadership skills, change management skills.
  • IT skills.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • First level Registered Nurse.
  • Recognised teaching qualification.
  • Relevant post registration Diploma level study or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
  • Working towards ECDL
  • First level degree or willingness to work towards.

Further Training

Essential criteria
  • Evidence of personal and professional development

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial years post registration experience, preferably in Outpatient areas.
