Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a surgical care practitioner to join our team. The team is made up of both trainees and very experienced SCP's.  As one of the SCPs  your time will be split between clinical, working alongside the General and Endocrine surgeons assisting in complex surgeries the applicant must have a minimum of 2 years surgical theatres experience and also experience of working within the SCP team.

A proportion of your time will be to run your own clinics and also to manage your own patient case load.. You will also be working alongside Consultants and the Specialty Management Team (SMT)  to further develop the team and service.

Main duties of the job

Performing clinical duties of SCP - assisting Consultant Surgeons in performing general surgery and endocrine surgery as first or second assistant.

Working autonomously in the minor surgery lumps and bumps theatre list

Working shifts

Work in theatre and run independent practitioner led clinics
