Hayward House offers specialist palliative care from diagnosis, through the interim periods of advancing disease, up to and including end of life care.
Patients are cared for holistically, with a focus on symptom management and care for emotional, spiritual and social concerns being addressed for both patients and their family.
You will be provided with the opportunity to work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to provide a wide variety of support for our patients and their families.

Hayward House is a 20 bedded Specialist Palliative Care Unit in the grounds of the City Campus of Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust. It provides high quality care centred on the needs of patients and their families. Its aim is to enrich the quality of life through the skills of an experienced and caring team.
Our management team is proactive and supportive in ensuring that excellent quality care is provided to our patients. We recognise our responsibility to ensure staff are supported and developed within their working environment in order to achieve our vision for care in line with Trust values and behaviours. We offer excellent opportunities for training, development and career progression within the Cancer & Associated Specialties (CAS).

Must have excellent communication skills a passion to work with palliative care and be able to work as part of a team. Required to work a range of shift patterns including, early, late, long days, nights and weekends.
