Hogarth Ward are looking to recruit a full time Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the team for a 12 month period.
You will be joining a diverse and motivated team that is dedicated to the development of specialist clinical skills and the delivery of high quality safe patient care.
We are a 15 bed ward specialising in Teenage and Young Adult Cancer. Inpatient care also includes palliative care, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and treating patients with the side effects of their cancer.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
We are looking to recruit UK NMC Registered Nurses.
You will receive a comprehensive Oncology induction programme lead by our Clinical Nurse Educator, which includes attending the 3 Day Cancer Care course and SACT study day to assist the completion of the UKONS SACT Competency passport.
There will be further opportunity to develop clinical skills in Venepuncture, Cannulation and ECGs.
Our ward partners with the Teenage Cancer Trust to provide both inpatient and outpatient care for teenagers and young adults.
We have a management team that is both innovative and proactive in ensuring that high quality care is delivered to our patients.
We are keen to encourage developments in line with Trust policy and working in new ways.

Essential criteria
- Current Level UK 1 NMC Registered
- Completed and passed NMC test of competence

- Nursing Degree
