An opportunity for a Band 6 Junior sister/ Charge Nurse is available at Ilkeston Dialysis Unit. This is a 20 hour post, flexible hours always accommodated. The unit is nurse led with plenty of opportunity to further your career within the Renal Speciality.
Main duties of the job
Managing a nurse led dialysis unit with 16 stations.
Primary Nurse management of a group of patients.
Managing day to day issues on the unit, staff sickness, appraisals and taking the lead in a variety of link roles and tendable audits.

Training and qualifications
Essential criteria
- Current level one NMC registration
- A minimum of 3 years experience at a band 5 level in renal dialysis
Desirable criteria
- CPD reflective profile
Experience
Essential criteria
- A minimum of 3 years at Band 5 experience in renal dialysis
- Ability to manage the clinical area efficiently and effectively.
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrate an involvement in a link nurse or project work
Communication skills
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate an ability to convey sensitive information
- Demonstrate effective, written and verbal communication skills
Desirable criteria
- Demonstration of team working and the ability to work with a team

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
