Applicants must have a FULL NMC registration, we do not currently offer the opportunity to sit OSCE. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an Assessment centre which must be attended in person.
We are looking to recruit passionate, motivated, innovative, dynamic & driven nurses to join our team. You will have excellent communication skills & a passion for your role and in improving patient care.
You will be required to deliver quality care in line with the Trust care values and we as a ward will value you & offer training specific to the needs of the ward, and you will have opportunity to develop your clinical skills in Acute Illness Management.
The Trust offers a lot of opportunity for our nurses to develop in all aspects of their practice through internal and external training, for care standards to be maintained and evidence based practices to be delivered.

Kettering General Hospital are looking for a superb nurse who will help us achieve our shared aim and the absolute desire of providing the very best Acute and Urgent care to our local population. We currently have opportunities for posts on our medical assessment ward, Middleton Assessment Unit (MAU).
A Nurse, who is motivated, dedicated and seeking a career in acute and urgent care nursing and have the aspiration and hunger to work in this acute and complex environment is essential. We want nurses who will enhance the enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate teams who are ready and waiting to step up to the future exciting challenges of urgent care nursing. We can offer several development opportunities and routes to progression and advancement within your Urgent Care nursing career.
We offer a 12 month preceptorship for newly qualified nurses who, depending on your specific development needs, will include building networks and gaining wider experience and links with the wider multidisciplinary teams within the hospital.

The role of the nurse/midwife is to provide a holistic, high quality, patient focused, comprehensive, efficient and safe service for the patients cared for at Kettering General Hospital, acting with responsibility, accountability and integrity; reporting adverse events and
poor practice to the person in charge. The nurse/midwife would be expected to effectively and responsibly use resources and engage in change and service improvements.
Standards of practice at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) are aligned to the standards set out by the Nursing & Midwifery (NMC) Code: Standards of conduct, performance and ethics for nurses and midwifes (2008). Standards of practice and care, at
KGH, also encompass the Chief Nursing Officer’s 6 C’s campaign and concentrate the nursing agenda on Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment.
