Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people's and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

We have various permeant roles across Northside House and Whitlingham ward 

Secure Services  provides assessment and treatment for older adults who are experiencing acute mental health problems, sometimes with physical health complexities. The service is recovery-focused and utilises a range of treatment, therapy and support in order to help our service users return to wellbeing and independence.

Northside House is a mental health inpatient unit situated on St Andrew's Business Park near Norwich.  There are three wards providing assessment and treatment services for acute mental disorders and rehabilitation including depression, bipolar, psychosis, dementia and crisis resolution.  Whitlingham ward is a low secure female ward based at Hellesdon Hospital. 

Our primary focus is on collaborative working: placing great emphasis on the assessment/recovery model.  Many aspects relating to service user recovery is reflected within the assessment tools the patients and staff use and the philosophy that underpins patient-centred care.

Our staff support network includes protected time and unit wellbeing sessions.  You will be given regular supervision and have an opportunity to use the onsite gym.  There are excellent developmental opportunities should you wish to progress.
