SU’s can be admitted into our ward for a few months or more. Our dedicated team works closely with the SU to determine the best treatment based on risk reduction and assessment while they are here and reviews this regularly.
Our service is recovery focused on Treatment, Therapy and Support to help our SU return to well-being and independence in the community by providing personal support in a person-centred and holistic way.
Relational Security is at the foundation of how we run our services and support SU to recover, also it is a security of the knowledge and understanding we have of a patient, of ourselves and of the environment, and the translation of that information into appropriate responses and care.
