St Helens SCPHN School Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a SCPHN school nurse to work within our South locality. It would be great for a qualified school nurse wanting experience to work in St Helens along side staff who are passionate about reducing health inequalities and supporting our local community. Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

A number of  exciting   opportunities  have  arisen in the St Helens 0-19  service for SCPHN trained School Nurses . The successful candidate   will have   proven leadership, experience and knowledge of school nursing.  If you want to make a difference to the health of school aged children within St Helens and have a commitment to reducing health inequalities we would very much like to hear from you.

You will work closely with the, education   and social care to  provide services in response to identified need, both public health and safeguarding whilst working in partnership St Helens Local Authority to take the local children’s agenda forward.

School Nursing is a fast paced, dynamic and challenging service, and as a  School Nurse with us you will be given opportunity to demonstrate leadership whilst working within the public health, health promotion and safeguarding domains.

You should be well organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with children and young people both in school and within other education provider settings. You must be committed to working effectively both within a team and independently. An in depth knowledge of the current trends and developments within school nursing and the health agenda relating to children’s services is essential.
