An exciting Band 6 nursing opportunity has arisen in Wythenshawe Outpatient Department which offers an extensive range of outpatient services to patients throughout the Greater Manchester area and beyond. Energy, enthusiasm and drive is required to work in this service, which holds clinics covering ,dermatology, chemical pathology, diabetics, endocrinology,, ENT, general medicine, vascular, general surgery, hematology, gastroenterology, respiratory, rheumatology to name but a few. We have interaction from a wide multidisciplinary team including specialist nurses and advanced practitioners, so the opportunities to develop your skills are endless.

Main duties of the job
To succeed, you'll need to be committed in delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.
Applicants must possess a proven clinical and managerial career history at Band 5 or 6 and demonstrate a commitment to effective leadership. An experience in an outpatient environment is desirable as is a commitment to outpatient service development.
The role will be based in the Wythenshawe Outpatients Department and and will require some cross site cover at other sites such as Altrincham, Withington and Trafford Outpatients.
Clinics run five days a week. Occasionally, staff members are required to support other wards and departments within the directorate. Core working hours are between 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.

- First level registration - (RN(Adult) Evidence of CPD in relevant specialty Evidence of Level 3 studies • Post registration experience • Relevant experience in a clinical setting
