Are you looking for an exciting and new challenge?  Are you ready to move onto something specialised and acute? Whether you have post registration experience or are newly qualified nurse, H2 needs you!

Ward H2 is a 25 bedded respiratory unit looking after patients with multiple respiratory conditions. We are a very dynamic and friendly team, and we are looking to recruit dynamic, friendly, and passionate nurses who have transferable skills.

Main duties of the job

We are a fast past high acuity area working within the  Emergency Village. We are a well established Respiratory Support Unit and work closely with MHDU, we provide care which is between ward level and higher dependency level care. There are close links with the Emergency Village to ensure both safe and positive patient experience and effective patient flow. Our aim is to ensure staff receive personal development which works alongside the contribution framework and the re-validation process and will enhance career progression.

We are specialised in providing Non Invasive Ventilation and CPAP to patients who have acute and chronic illnesses. We also provide treatment for patients requiring chest drains and other procedures such as Bronchoscopy and Thoroscopy. Our role is to follow the patient’s journey from beginning to end and being able to provide safe, clean, and a personal service during pre and post operational care. Further to these skills we are also sometimes exposed to care for patients who have tracheostomies.

Working on H2 we aim to provide a high standard of patient focused care, support each other and endeavour to be the best.

The Respiratory division is passionate about the quality of the care we deliver to our patients, and we are constantly striving and challenging the care we deliver. We aim to deliver a safe, clean & personal service to our patients every time.
