Renal Services at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust are expanding with opportunities across our Haemodialysis Service and we want you!
We have opportunities within our Haemodialysis Services based at Salford, Bolton & Wigan.
This expansion means an increase in staffing across our dialysis service at Band 5 and we are seeking Registered Nurses both experienced, new to renal and newly qualified to join us and our growing multi-disciplinary teams.
Registered or Student Nurses wanting to take your career to the next level in Renal this is the place for you. You will gain a wealth of knowledge and highly transferable skills from exposure to a variety of Renal conditions, supporting lifelong treatment pathways designed to ensure maximum independence and minimal disruption to patient independence and quality of life such as management of the acutely unwell adult, Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Home Dialysis, Venepuncture, Canulation, Blood Cultures, Intermediate Life Support, Chronic Kidney Disease, Vascular Access & Transplant.

Registered Nurses working within our services have progressed to higher banded roles within the service including within Specialist Nursing roles and Advanced Practitioner roles as we are passionate to support and grow our workforce to maximize potential to benefit Patients, Staff and the wider Service.

- Rotations – if you want the chance to spread your wings beyond Dialysis and get some acute renal experience, we will work through how we can support this with you and other teams across our Directorate.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
