Main duties of the job

Are you passionate about making a real difference in neonatal care? We’re searching for a dynamic leader to helm our dedicated neonatal team across intensive, high dependency, special, and transitional care. This is your chance to be at the forefront of neonatal excellence!

As a pioneering force in our unit, you will:

·         Lead with Confidence: Take charge of the neonatal team, showcasing your ability to recognize and respond to neonatal emergencies while providing vital support to your peers and junior staff.

·         Educate and Empower: Share your extensive knowledge and clinical experience to enhance the skills of your colleagues in delivering exceptional Family Integrated Care, ensuring that every family feels informed, supported, and cared for.

·        Champion Best Practices: Uphold the highest standards by ensuring care is delivered in line with Trust policies and procedures. Leverage clinical audits and research to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

·       Foster Collaboration: Engage with both internal and external networks, promoting a collaborative environment that enhances communication and resource sharing. Your role modelling will inspire effective teamwork!

·        Shape the Future of Care: Actively participate in the ongoing development of our neonatal unit, aligning your efforts with your professional registration to create a brighter future for newborns and their families.
