Essential criteria
- Health related degree or equivalent
- Recognised teaching or mentoring qualification or equivalent
- Recognised management or leadership qualification or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Gynaecology specialist study/qualification
- Change management study/qualification
- Quality improvement study/qualification
- Professional Nurse Advocate

Essential criteria
- Current NMC registration as relevant for the post
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Substantial post-registration experience in Gynaecology
- Substantial experience of working at Band 6 / management / leadership level managing a team on a shift by shift basis
- Substantial experience of working at Band 6 / management / leadership level managing a team on a shift by shift basis
- Experience of delivering quality improvement projects
Desirable criteria
- Working knowledge of the application of HR policies and procedures
