Job overview
We are looking for Paediatric Registered Nurses to join our growing team at Oldham ED. We have recently opened the new area of our paediatric area within ED and looking to expand our team.

As the Healthier Together plans continue across Greater Manchester the Oldham Care Organisation is planned to play a crucial role and the Royal Oldham Hospital has been identified as a red/hub hospital for the area.
Our friendly, supportive and patient focused team is led by a team of Band 7 Senior Sister’s supported by the Emergency Department Lead Nurse.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for highly motivated Registered Paediatric Nurses who are hardworking, passionate about delivering high quality, safe care and keen to develop their clinical skills. Successful applicants will also possess excellent communication skills and their written documentation will be of a high standard. On appointment you will be allocated a mentor and 4 week supernumerary period to facilitate your induction to the department. You will be encouraged to continue your professional development via in house and Trust training and Link Nurse opportunities.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely. - Degree / diploma in nursing studies(or equivalent nursing qualification and experience
