Senior Nurses for Patient Flow

Job overview

The post holder will be key members of the site management team, to lead and co-ordinate capacity which supports effective clinical flow and maintains patient safety. The need to balance emergency and elective demands effectively will be critical components of the role and as senior nurses you will work alongside managers and clinical partners to keep our patients safe.

This is an exciting time to join the site management team whilst we are currently embedding new working practices to prepare for a changing acute health care environment. The successful applicant will be a role model who inspires confidence, demonstrates excellent communication, organisation, decision-making and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to collate complex information from multi-factorial sources and have confidence to escalate issues outside of the role responsibilities.

We are looking for a candidate with NHS acute experience and leadership skills. Your attention to detail is essential with the ability to work within an unpredictable and pressured environment at pace, where operational priorities may change at short notice to meet timeframes for access to patient-focused pathways and clinical need.

A flexible and committed work ethos is required, with an open mind to change, whilst working within 24/7 service provision. You will be a self-motivated individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who has supervisory experience within a team.
