Are you a Staff Nurse in Emergency Care ready for the next step in your career?

We are looking for both Adult and Children's Registered Nurse.

The Accident and Emergency department at Bury Care Organisation is looking for forward thinking and innovative leaders to develop change and provide senior nursing expertise.

Main duties of the job

You will be an expert in clinical skills and knowledge demonstrating the ability to work in all areas of the Accident and Emergency department.

You will be supported and developed in your leadership skills ,change management and quality improvement learning how to lead and coach a team to provide high quality, urgent care. You will have the opportunity to continue to develop your clinical skills by training as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner, assessing and treating patients presenting with both minor injuries and illness and mentored by our dedicated team of ENPs and GPs.

You will work closely with our Practise Based Educator in developing your career as a Sister/ Charge Nurse

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.

The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.   • ALS provider

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial years’ experience within specialty (significant years post qualification and notable years of which must be in specialty)
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of managing all areas of the department

  • evidence of acquisition of relevant skills associated with the role 1
  • Good Communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate workload and supervise members of the team ensuring high quality ,safe and effective patient care
