WF CAMHS Clinical Lead - Alliance (Complex and Unplanned Care/ Crisis Prevention)

Our Alliance Team is at the forefront of this innovative work, and we are seeking an inspiring Clinical Lead to drive the development and delivery of exceptional care within the Alliance/Complex Care Team.

Main duties of the job
As the Clinical Lead, you will:
- Provide clinical leadership to the Alliance team, ensuring high standards of evidence-based practice.
- Oversee assessments and treatment interventions for children and young people.
- Support and guide colleagues across the wider CAMHS service, fostering collaboration and professional development.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the service, driving innovation, and improving outcomes.
Working for our organisation
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement - London
This post attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata).

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To be responsible for organising and prioritising own and others workload in the day to day allocation of work.
Working with the MDT to provide assessments and interventions for children, young people and their families.
Provide clinical leadership to the Alliance team, ensuring high standards of evidence-based practice.
Provide professional, generic, and specific advice, training, consultation, and supervision to colleagues, as appropriate.
To have organisational knowledge relating to Trust protocols and procedures and adhere to them, particularly administration of medicine and moving and handling.
To be responsible for providing accurate records of information required by the Trust for audit purposes.
To ensure effective risk management at team level by accident/incident reporting, assessing and controlling risk and ensuring residual risks are added to the Trust register.
To supervise pre-registration students.
To employ professional curiosity in your day-to-day role and act upon any findings appropriately.

Essential criteria
- A recognised health discipline i.e. Nursing (RGN), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist or other appropriate qualification
- Registration with the appropriate professional and State measurement i.e. Application Form Interview Assessment regulatory bodies (NMC, HCPC, GSW, AFT and UKCP
- Evidence of on-going personal and professional development
Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- An awareness of NHS Priorities
- Knowledge of the UK legislation in relation to the health and welfare services to children and adolescents and mental health.
Experience
Essential criteria
- At least three years experience in delivering mental health interventions in a CAMHS (or similar child and adolescent mental health) setting.
- Demonstrable experience of improving quality for service users and carers
- Experience of delivering Supervision
