Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Integrated Team Manager within the Kent and Medway Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) management team. You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of a multi-disciplinary locality team and be accountable to the Head of Service and Assistant Director. You will be expected to work in partnership with other managers and clinical leads as well supporting the wider system in Kent and Medway.

 

Main duties of the job

Who are we seeking?

We are looking for a post holder who will  have experience of working within Child and Young Peoples Mental Health / Emotional well being services.  The Post holder will need to be experienced in working with or managing teams with Children young people and families when there are Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND.) The Candidate will need to be passionate about delivering high quality care Mental Health Services and be innovative in their approach to developing new services. The post holder will need to be registered with a professional governing body and have experiencing of managing staff and teams.

You will be entitled to annual leave and bank holiday entitlement based on years of NHS services.

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.  All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.  As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.  The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

 

Probationary Period

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
