Job overview

We are very excited to advertise a band 5 position within the Dermatology Department at UCLH.

The Dermatology department provides specialised treatment for adults.

We provide a wide range of treatments and care for patients with dermatological disease and skin cancer.

We cover a wide range of surgical treatments, such as MOH’s, Plastic surgery , & complex surgery, which is supported by our Skin Cancer CNS  from diagnosis, results & ongoing care.

Main duties of the job

There are also specialist treatments delivered to patients via nurse led services, such as nurse led monitoring, nurse led Photodynamic therapy, Phototherapy, pre assessment clinics, & Dressings. We are in the process of developing further nurse led services.

Working within our friendly and supportive team will enable the successful candidate to develop a range of advanced skills and knowledge by rotating between surgical and medical dermatology.

The phototherapy course and theatre experience are desirable but not essential as we will support specific training and supervision until competent.
