Main duties of the job
As a Paediatric Sister, you will work across our dedicated Paediatric Emergency Department, newly built Children's Resuscitation Bay, and Urgent Treatment Centre, delivering safe and effective care and safe discharge to approximately 29,000 children per year.
Our Practice Development Nurse, ED Senior Sister, and Paediatric ED Matron will provide you with the tools and support you need to excel in your career, both clinically and managerially. You will also gain experience in team management, as well as receive comprehensive induction training, teaching sessions, and in-house training. We also offer regular paediatric simulations led by Consultants in the ED resuscitation bay, and an ED Resus Team is available to support you in resuscitation scenarios.
