Health and Wellbeing Team Leader - HMP & YOI Feltham

NHS AfC: Band 7

Trosolwg o'r swydd

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is a Top Employer Award Winner. We have a Health and Justice Services Directorate, within which sits the ‘Children and Young People’ Service line working in partnership with ‘Youth Custody Service’ colleagues to provide trauma-informed primary care, mental health, neuro-developmental and substance misuse services to the young people and young adults within our care.

It is our quest to deliver patient-focused, developmentally appropriate, quality care; promoting a trauma informed environment together with our operational colleagues and supporting young people and young adults to understand their own health and wellbeing needs and maximise all opportunities to achieve their goals during their stay and beyond.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic RMN band 7 Team Leader to join our Integrated Healthcare Service at HMPYOI Feltham covering Feltham B.

Feltham is effectively two separate establishments delivering healthcare services to young people in Feltham A (15-19 years) and adults in Feltham B (18-30 years). These two cohorts have slightly different needs and we are looking for staff that understand this and work in line with ‘Child First’ principles.  By joining our team, you will not only look after the healthcare needs of the young people we care for, but also have the opportunity to have a real impact on promoting health and well-being for this population.
