Job overview

We are looking to appoint a full-time, motivated and enthusiastic Band 4 Registered Nurse Associate  to be part of a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team that will help provide comprehensive, high quality support work within  Outpatients nursing at Chase Farm site. 

We have a range of opportunities that the successful candidate can learn from both medicine and surgical specialities that we support, and we have a strong senior team to help them transition in the role.

Main duties of the job

• As a member of the multidisciplinary team the post holder will contribute to the delivery of patients’ individual care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Perform a full range of manual and clerical duties.
• Supports registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment.
• To practice in accordance with Trust standards and statutory requirements and operate within the boundaries of the role and assessed competencies.
• The RNA can develop within the role and undertake further training
and development.
• To act as a role model for student nurses and colleagues.

  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
  • Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification

  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Insight into how to evaluate own strengths and development needs, seeking E advice where appropriate
