Registered Nursing Associate – Band 4 Elective Surgery

Are you an experienced or newly qualified nursing associate looking for a change in career direction. We have a new ‘state-of- the- art’ digital hospital, specialising in elective surgery.  If you are interested in developing skills and experience within the speciality of surgery, then we would love to hear from you. If you join us you will have the opportunity to develop skills and experience in:

  • Post-operative care for patients following: Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, General Surgery, ENT, and maxillofacial surgeries.
  • Post -operative care of orthopaedic patients includes: joint replacement, spinal surgery, and upper and lower limb surgery.
  • Work alongside members of the multi-disciplinary team to rehabilitate patients following surgery and planning their discharge home.

  • Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
  • GCSE Grade A-C in Maths and English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent

  • Ability to develop effective and appropriate relationships with people their families, carers and colleagues
  • Ability to support, supervise, assess and act as a role model to trainee nursing associates, nursing assistants as required within the clinical setting.
