Southeast London (Lambeth, Southwark, Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham)
Immunisations are an important part of the healthy child programme neonates and for school-age children. We are looking for an enthusiastic registered nurse interested in joining our BCG team in Southeast London (Lambeth, Southwark, Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham).
You are expected to help deliver the BCG immunisation programme. Full training and support will be provided and details available at interview. It is important that you are flexible. When you are not working with the BCG immunisation services, you will be expected to support the school immunisation teams.

Main duties of the job
To participate in BCG immunisations/School Age programme.
To assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of the BCG immunisation programme/school immunisation programme in the community clinic, school or or home.
To work in the office on the administration tasks associated with triaging, contacting school and recording data.
To encourage parents/carers and children to participate in the immunisation programmes in line with the Department of Health policy.
To ensure children and parents/carers have adequate evidence based information to allow them to make an informed choice regarding immunisations.
To participate in the BCG programme/school immunisation programme ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to enabling safe effective administration of immunisations in the community clinic or school setting.
To prepare and assist with immunisation satellite clinics held within the Trust.
Flexible working is required. When you are not working with the BCG team, you will be expected to support the school immunisation teams.
