Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

A community mental health nurse is a varied career that has lots of job opportunities. It is an exciting time to join Oxleas as we are currently looking at how to develop our community nurses so that they can feel empowered to deliver the best care.

The main role of a community mental health nurse is to promote and support a person’s recovery, helping them live independent and fulfilling lives by building effective relationships with people who use mental health services, and also with their relatives and carers. Mental health nurses work alongside a large MDT and have many opportunities to specialise in areas of interest.

No day is the same, community mental health nurses can spend the day visiting service users in their own home, running clinics from the team base or attending MDT meetings to plan and review care.
