For all other Medical Workforce positions, the full-time entitlement commences from 27 days per annum.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust are proud to offer a JAG accredited Endoscopy service. We have a great opportunity for a registered nurse or ODP to join our prestigious team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our fantastic team, who will in turn ensure that you are supported in a friendly and progressive environment.
The Endoscopy Units’ within the Trust perform a variety of standard and advanced Endoscopic procedures for both out-patients and in-patients including; gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, oesophageal stenting and other specialist work is also undertaken by our individual consultants.
The Endoscopy Unit is presently open between 08:00 and 19:00, 7 days a week, with an On Call Nurse Bleed Rota overnight and at weekends. We operate services across 4 sites, and there may be occasional need to travel between sites. Our aim is to provide the very highest standards of care to patients and relatives a like, ensuring privacy and dignity is maintained at all times.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Endoscopy Sister, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting endoscopists in the procedure room, acting as the patients' advocate, ensuring privacy and dignity throughout the endoscopy journey. They should be able to demonstrate good leadership skills, be adaptable to a changing environment and possess good written and verbal communication skills. There will be a need to work flexibly to meet the needs of the trustwide Endoscopy service, a commitment to personal / professional development is required and a teaching / mentorship certificate would be desirable.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
