On 1st April 2020, North Manchester General Hospital became part of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) under a new management agreement. The Northern Care Alliance NHS Group will continue to support North Manchester with its recruitment and workforce requirements until the service is formally transferred into MFT. North Manchester General Hospital has a vibrant future ahead as it works with MFT to provide better care for patients and their families in the local community and across Greater Manchester.  Plans to create an innovative health campus which will see a new hospital build and the development of a ‘wellbeing hub’ that will bring health and economic benefits to the wider community.

The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital invites you to join our esteemed Paediatric Home Therapies Nursing Team. As part of one of the largest paediatric home haemodialysis services in the UK, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children with chronic and acute conditions.

In this dynamic role, you will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, managing home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Your expertise and compassion will ensure that our young patients receive the highest quality of care in the comfort of their own homes.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

To facilitate renal replacement therapy on paediatric patients with end-stage kidney disease at home by providing a training programme and continual support and monitoring. To work closely and cross cover all renal replacement modalities, including peritoneal dialysis, incentre haemodialysis and home haemodialysis.

The post holder will be expected to provide clinical expertise and knowledge, demonstrating a sound understanding of the issues related to the identification, assessment, treatment and management of the client group. S/he will monitor and improve standards of care through, supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues and the provision of skilled professional leadership. S/he will actively contribute to the clinical governance processes within the service.
