Trosolwg o'r swydd

 

  • To work collaboratively with the Team leader and clinical lead to provide clinical leadership and line management for their respective team.
  • To assist in the management of the integrated CAMHS/ CPS within Fylde and Wyre CAMHS/CPS and function as a practicing clinician within the service
  • To ensure that integrated CAMHS/CPS offers a team approach in the delivery of high quality service provision of assessments and intervention in order to meet the needs of those young people presenting with emotional/psychological and/or mental health difficulties and their families
  • To supervise and evaluate the multi-disciplinary team in conjunction with helpful and respectful services to young people and their families
  • To develop and maintain robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS/ CP and community partners and other key stakeholders
  • The post holder will assist with the responsibilities for all aspects of the service
  • To assist with the responsibility for the day to day management of the team ensuring a responsive and effective service is offered 24 hours per day 7 days per week
  • To assist in clinical and caseload supervision and professional development planning for the staff team.

 

To manage a reduced clinical caseload and provide direct clinical interventions/ assessments that are high quality, timely and accessible.

  • Carry out assessment of children's mental health and emotional well-being. This could include risk assessments related to self harm and suicidal ideation as part of the duty function. 
  • Carry a small caseload
  • Provide short-term interventions and support for children experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Participate in group work programmes with children relating to issues associated with emotional well being and mental health difficulties.  
  • Provide Supervision and training to the clinical team
  • Proactively remain up to date and professionally accountable to the code of conduct of either the NMC or other relevant professional body for disciplines outside of nursing.
