Essential criteria
- Registered Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration
Experience
Essential criteria
- Substantial clinical experience relating to the care of babies/children and young people, be currently practicing in the field of safeguarding/child protection, and an understanding of legislation relating to children and young people, and of forensic medicine.
- In-depth understanding of safeguarding legislation and court and criminal justice systems and be able to apply, support or advise other professionals with safeguarding work including legal documentation/court responsibilities.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
