This will also require you to be flexible, hardworking and reliable.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Endoscopy Support Worker will participate, and support the members of the multi-disciplinary team, in delivering high quality patient care under the supervision of the Registered Practitioner. The main responsibility will be leading the daily decontamination team, ensuring the decontamination of the various endoscopes and other specialised endoscopic equipment (including maintenance and traceability) is performed as per Trust policy.

The role exists to provide a multi-skilled worker who undertakes a range of delegated duties under the indirect supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
