Job overview
Operational responsibility and leadership for the Place of Safety Teams 24/7 overseeing a team of clinicians and support workers and ensuring high quality care and service provision is delivered to all clients on the caseload who are detained under Section 136 of MHA '83.
Main duties of the job
To work as a core member of the Place of Safety Team, ensuring clinical care is of the highest standard, meeting agreed KPI's and National Fidelity standards.
To Work Operationally and clinically to support junior staff with complex patients and decision making.
Demonstrate professional leadership both internally and externally to the Acute Directorate.
Financial responsibility for the budgets of the individual teams
People management.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
As a trust we are currently going through a transformation which sees us moving to a centralised Health Based Place of Safety in Spring 2025 which will be located at Priority House. The post holder will be involved in the design and supporting the transition of the current three teams with the re-location.
The post holder requires excellent Communication, people and financial management.
