Non-Clinical Maternity Support Worker

Salary: £22,383 per annum/pro rata

We are recruiting for a Non-Clinical Maternity Support Worker who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

The post holder will facilitate the smooth running of this maternity service and successful applicant will be involved in service improvement.

Equipment cupboard must be accessible to staff, tidy and floors clean and litter free
Ensure daily checks of all relevant items, blood trackers, urinalysis monitors, Blood monitoring equipment with evidence
To prioritise stock availability, report to manager for ordering to comply with patient safety and clinical governance requirements
Ensure there is an effective, robust communication system between the non –clinical role and Clinical Support Worker team members.

- Previous experience desirable, preferable within a health care setting

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across maternity while liaising with different levels of personnel
