Recovery Practitioner

Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum

We are recruiting for a Recovery Practitioner who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

We are recruiting for qualified staff, qualified staff with limited theatre experience or existing theatre staff who want to expand their current practice to join our Recovery team.

The post holder will be responsible for implementing, coordinating, and delivering effective, high quality perioperative care for the surgical patient, following a client-centred model of practice and ensuring area of work runs smoothly and efficiently

Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of services users and always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of person centred care principles.

You will be an enthusiastic team player wishing to develop your skills in this important area. Whilst experience in this area is desirable we also welcome applications from newly qualified practitioners or those with experience elsewhere.

Up to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues

Knowledge of evidence based practice

Good team player.

Good communication skills and ability to deal with sensitive information

To include dealing with distressed relatives, care of terminally ill and other challenging situations

Demonstrates ability to influence and negotiate with others

An understanding of audit and research based nursing practice

To manage peri operative patients and undertake duties in Pre-operative Care Unit
