We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
Main duties of the job
To assist the nursing team to ensure the day to day running of the Chemotherapy unit is maintained to the highest standard.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the nurses and senior support workers with clinical duties including observations, height and weight, blood glucose, urinalysis and general day to day running of the unit.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The employee will work closely with the nursing team and nurse in charge to know what tasks are required on a daily basis.
The employee will be responsible for using the relevant IT systems to identify patients who require treatment. They will be competent in taking and acting on observations.
The employee will be responsible for maintaining mandatory training, and adhering to trust policies.

- NVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject or the equivalent level of working experience
Knowledge
