Band 3 – ENT Clinic De-waxing technician with currently 30 hours on offer
A rare opportunity is available within the ENT service for a motivated individual to join our team and support the clinicians in delivering a micro suction service.
The successful applicant will be an individual with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills who can demonstrate an ability to work as part of the team and, with indirect supervision, ensure that a high standard of holistic care is delivered to every patient.
Main duties of the job
Qualifications and experience in Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) care is desirable but not essential as training is available.
IT skills are essential as part of this role will include ordering stock, collating patient feedback and undertaking departmental audits. Other aspects of the role will include supporting general ENT clinics and other Outpatient clinics when required.

Essential criteria
- NVQ level 3
- Experience in ENT /surgery
- Ability to use Word, Email and hospital internet systems
- Willingness to learn PAS and ECarelogic for clinic management
- Experience of direct care in health or social care setting

- Evidence of own personal development presented in professional portfolio.

- Physically capable of performing the role and responsibilities expected of the post holder with manual handling of patients, movement of patient medical notes and medical equipment.
