This post will require a registered nurse from a back ground of adult or children's to work in the Urgent Treatment Centre in the Lister Hospital.

On a day-to-day basis this role aims to ensure that the overall co-ordination of demand on urgent and emergency care services is effectively managed across the service.

The key role is to assist the Emergency Nurse Practitioners and GPs in maintaining a safe environment, delivering a high standard of care, and maintaining the well-being and dignity of patients, both adult and children. This will involve real time monitoring of demand and capacity, which will therefore enable the appropriate and efficient streaming of patients to the most appropriate services.
