We are looking for an exceptional Clinical Nurse Specialist to join or team to work alongside colleagues in the Children's Community team, offering a specialist service for children and young people (CYP) within our ADHD pathway.  This will involve assessing, planning, and implementing programmes of care and treatment for CYP with ADHD, based on specialist knowledge, training and experience.

The ADHD Nurse Specialist will be an autonomous practitioner, employing highly developed skills in child and family centred care and working in partnership with medical, educational, voluntary, and other healthcare services.

As an integral part of a community healthcare provider, the post holder may deliver care and assessment in a clinic, educational or other healthcare setting or in a patient’s home.

The post holder will contribute to high quality patient care by providing specialist support, advice and education to patients, carers, and clinical staff across the organisation, in addition to other healthcare providers and stakeholders.

The ADHD Nurse Specialist will have a vital role in leading the continuing development of the ADHD service, based on specialist knowledge, research and evidence based best practice.
