Trosolwg o'r swydd

Sophie’s place is an acute assessment unit which provides a huge range of experiences for anyone wanting to continue developing their skills in caring for children. We are looking for a band 5 nurse to join our friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team. We are open to applications from experienced or newly qualified nurses who will be supported by an excellent regional paediatric preceptorship programme.
Our primary role is in assessing and providing care to children and young people requiring acute assessment, within both the assessment unit (Sophie’s Place) and the Children's area of the Emergency Department. Additionally, we support the Children’s outpatient service and paediatric blood clinic, giving opportunities for ongoing development of clinical knowledge and skills.
