The role is a primary function supporting the team for the optimal care of our patients. The delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate health care to the patients of the Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust is the most important objective for the organisation

The role of the Nurse Associate Practitioner is to Assist and support the qualified health professionals in ensuring optimal care for the patients and the success of the trust. The delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate health care of patients of the Hampshire hospitals Foundation Trust is the most important objective for the organisation.

Training & Qualifications
Meini prawf hanfodol
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent or above in health or health and social care or working towards an award.
- Foundation degree in health and social care
- ESOL Level 2 or equivalent (if English is not first language).
- Literacy level 2 or equivalent (GCSE A-C).

- BSc in Health and social care
Experience & Knowledge

- Previous experience in health/health and social care role
- Able to demonstrate current knowledge and identify current learning needs

- Understanding NHS/Social care systems
- Previous NHS experience

- Good written and verbal communication within the English language
- Able to work within a team
- Able to meet the minimum skill set within the first 12 months of appointment with support and development where required (list of skills defined in generic competency framework).
- Effective patient/client care skills

- Should be willing to work flexible hours on occasion.

- Full driving licence and access to own vehicles which can be insured for business use.
