Band 2 MSW - Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Location: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

Role Description: Assisting midwives and other members of the healthcare team to support women and their families in all areas of maternity care.

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good standard of general education in English language and math’s GCSE grades A-C
  • Commitment to undertake local training and development to NVQ level.

Experience & Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Recent/current experience in healthcare setting
Desirable criteria
  • Experience in maternity care in hospital

Skills & Ability

Essential criteria
  • Ability to maintain a confidential approach to all aspects of role.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise personal workload under supervision.
  • Able to work a flexible shift pattern.
